PropDesk acts as the 'control tower' for modern property portfolios. We provide a managed back office that handles tenant communications, work order dispatch, and lease renewals so the local property managers can focus on growth and asset health.
By strictly adhering to response-time SLAs and utilizing platforms like AppFolio or Buildium to their full potential, PropDesk reduces owner escalations and improves tenant satisfaction without requiring the PM firm to add internal headcount.
What You'll Build
You will build the ultimate remote back office for real estate operators. You will map out the escalation matrices, integrate directly into industry-standard PM software, and deploy a team of specialized coordinators that deliver lightning-fast resolution to tenant issues.
Your Responsibilities
As the CEO, you are responsible for executing from 0 to 1.
Map the Workflows
Document the precise Standard Operating Procedures for handling maintenance tickets, vendor dispatch, and lease renewals.
Close the First Sale
Directly pitch and close mid-sized property management firms. Close your first deal to prove the value of our administrative overhead reduction.
Own the Revenue Engine
Drive sales and own the revenue generation engine. Build an aggressive sales pipeline targeting 1,000+ door portfolios to rapidly scale MRR.
Establish the Control Tower
Oversee the initial ticket workflows, ensuring strict adherence to first-response and vendor-scheduling SLAs.
Scale Operations
Recruit and train pod leads and coordinators, ensuring high tenant satisfaction and minimal churn as door counts increase.
Who We're Looking For
- Deep understanding of real estate operations, specifically residential or mixed-use property management.
- Familiarity with industry-standard software (AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, etc.).
- Exceptional operational and logistical skills; ability to manage high volumes of concurrent, time-sensitive tasks.
- Experience in B2B sales or account management within the PropTech or real estate space.
- Ability to build and enforce rigorous SLAs for a remote workforce.
The Ideal Candidate
You are a seasoned real estate operations professional, perhaps a former Director of Operations at a PM firm, who knows exactly where the bottlenecks are. You are tired of seeing property managers burn out over routine maintenance tickets. You have the systems-thinking required to build a centralized, highly efficient back-office machine.
Compensation & Equity
We fund your living expenses for the first 90 days. Once you onboard your first PM firm and secure a per-door retainer, your compensation transitions to a salary plus equity, scaling alongside the total number of doors under management.
